SUN DANCE is the debut full release by Berlin’s RISING SUN, aka Steffen Laschinski. The EP features Rising Sun originals ‘Sun Dance’ and ‘Candy In My Pocket’ - two blissful tracks of old-style House-influenced minimalism infused with the heady atmosphere of early-90s innocence and joy - distant memories of simpler times - beach parties, bonfires, the sun rising over the sea at dawn… On the B-side, SVEN WEISEMANN (Mojuba, liebe*detail, a.r.t.less, Styrax Leaves) remixes ‘Sun Dance’, stretching it out into a beautiful shape-shifting epic. All tracks are mastered by masked Techno maverick REDSHAPE (Delsin, Present, Music Man, Styrax Leaves) and a limited quantity will be available on orange vinyl. Steffen Laschinski is currently best known as the label boss of influential labels Styrax Records, Styrax Leaves and Millions of Moments. Rising Sun have previously featured on split artist releases on the Workshop and Ruin labels.
