"Beluga" is my fave of the two - it's really light and agile, but very deep and forceful at the same time. I love the sort of son clave pattern on the descending synth melody. This is a total jam, I can't wait to hear it out (and play it out!!).
"Aurora" is also great - with a bit of Matt John's carnival spirit thrown in; I like how it sort of spirals off into jazzy chaos towards the end, too. Congrats - great work."

Zusammen mit Finn Johannsen betreiben die beiden Wahl-Berliner nun das Label Macro und sorgen mit der erste Platten gleich für einen Paukenschlag. Schön schräg, etwas spooky, nie geradlinig oder vorhersehbar, dafür stilecht und geschmackssicher schrauben sich ?Aurora? und ?Beluga? in Kortex und Tanzbein. Letzteres lässt nach hinten alles offen und könnte damit bei so manchem sedierten Raver die optische Achse verdrehen. DR

Auf dem ersten Release seines neuen, eigenen (mit Finn Johannsen betriebenen) Labels zeigt sich Stefan Goldmann von seiner verschrobeneren Seite. An seinen Hit "Sleepy Hollow" erinnernde Melodieführungen werden immer wieder von quengeligen Sequenzen und Bassstupsern in eine düster pulsierende Deepness gezerrt. "Aurora" versinkt sogar ganz in alptraum- und soundtrackhaften Soundskizzen. Sehr schön.
