lya Santana from Gran Canaria, Spain has produced his first record for Daniel Wang?s cult label Balihu. Since then, he has graced the labels Airtight and Disciple Of Groove with his warm space disco tracks. After contributing a track for the ?Permanent vacation? compilation in 2006, this is his first proper release for the up and coming Munich based label. Ilya Santana, the super wonderboy from the Canarian Islands stikes back! After contributing his exclusive track ?Black Leather Pants After Midnight? for the Permanent Vacation compilation last summer, he is now up with his first full release for PERMVAC. And again, it is outstanding! The protege of Danny Wang, on whose Balihu imprint he released is debut ep in 2005, has sucked up the essence of disco, which can be heard and felt in every note of his music. The crystal clear sound, the great synth lines and the huge arpeggio cue of ?Discotized", has all the ingredients for a space disco anthem and works amazing on the dancefloors around the globe. On the flip we have ?Holding You", a warm more metro area kinda vibe tune with beautiful string sounds for early hours in the club.
