Darko Esser’s debutalbum ‘Balans’ received overwhelming feedback & reviews from DJ’s, magazines and most importantly from the listeners: people who took the time to listen to the album via various means and send heartwarming comments back to us.
We have scheduled a series of 4 remixsingles to accompany the albumrelease. All the remixers are personal friends of the label and are artists we admire. For part 2 we are happy to announce the following heavyweights to our roster: Claro Intelecto, Benny Rodrigues and Stephen Brown. We are extremely happy with the addition of Manchester based underground Cultfigure Claro Intelecto. He’s one of our alltime favorite electronic producers and his interpretation of clubhit ‘The Return’ will definitely be causing waves on the dancefloor. More house orientated then ever, Claro’s squarebass extravaganza is aiming for the hips this time, with shocking results. Darko’s close friend and long time studiopartner Benny Rodrigues choose his favorite track ‘The Goodbye Song’ to re-rub and did a fantastic job at it. Using almost every element of the original in a different context, this slow, hypnotic builder has been causing mayhem ever since the guys started roadtesting it. Plus two remixes from Scottish legend Stephen Brown, who is well known for his classic releases on Djax, Tresor and Transmat. Mix 1 is a jacking Chicago dancefloor tool, whereas mix 2 goes deep into the Detroit realms for some proper emo techno. Two down, two to go!
