The Canadian My Favorite Robot lable returns with the first in a new series of split releases featuring the label's core artists. James Teej has been on a roll recently with the release of his debut artist album on Radioslave's Rekids imprint. In his first release since the album, Teej shows just why he is in such high demand for his productions and remixes. With "Transistin' Tom", Teej takes you on a journey into the outer reaches of dance music with a truly interesting and artsy piece of electronica. Kenny Glasgow is also riding the wave of excitement around everything he is doing after a string of incredibly well received releases for the My Favorite Robot Records and No.19 labels. And more great things ahead including a new project with Jonny White under their Art Department moniker which will see a full length album on Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels. Here, Kenny comes with a track that is a return to the early days of Electro and "Belgian Disco" truly encompasses a sound that you can imagine was made years ago. It is a very special track and exclusive to What People Play.
