After two EPs released on ZeECc during this last year, it's now time for Igor Arsenjev to invite us in a full length album, justly entitled 'Shapes And Textures', and this is the perfect way for him to complete gracefully his art. It's like he's freed from all kind of limit, by repeating perpetually a pure dub-techno form in all its purity and by transforming some chords and pads into hypnotics weapons. During one hour, each track gives us new sensations and projects us in different musical representations of his personal and intimist world.This is not here a basic story but an intense overlap of feelings, of emotions and dreams converted into sound illustrations. All notes, all sounds are played with thoughtfulness and placed with precision, like one pixel in the middle of a perfect picture. This accurateness reveals itself stronger during a quiet and peaceful listening, by letting the music take control of your senses.
