With their latest release Magnetic Base present themselves , in cooperation with fellow remixers Luna City Express and M. Tanzmann and Stefanik, from their hedonistic side.This is totally upfront deephouse which is very typical for the Berlin sound of now. This means, for the artists involved nothing less than knowing about the endless history of electronic dance and turning it into modern music now. The original trax of Magnetic Base therefore are a lection of melancholy and passion transformed into musical expression, this is deephouse with a emotional hypnotic flavour. Also the remixers follow this red line, giving birth to an either freaked out, hunting but still subtile interpretation of Spree Beach Sunrise by Luna City Crew or the experimental, minimalized to the max Remix of Funky Worm by Tanzmann and Stefanik.This EP,is a milestone for Magnetic Base and for Highgrade.
