further adventures in tech-funk with the latest installment in Todd Bodine´s established "digital madness" series. the mid-paced, stripped riddim of "black cup" not only warms your dancing leg up nicely but also digs deep into your subconcious mind with vocal snippets of a famous house hit from a few years back slowed down and sounding like a hypnotist, yet this is not meant for you to rest, as "your mission" on the flip reminds you of your duty to wiggles dat ass: this is not only made clear buy the overbubbling synth backings but also by a authoritarian snare relentlessly driving things forward.
