No stranger to straight up tracky techno, the cuts on Adam Marshall's third Cynosure release are pure evidence of his familiarity with the genre.
“Searching” on side A is the slick, DJ-friendly, jacker, reminiscent of Detroit’s early sound. A relentless, but never tiring, deep analog bass sequence backed with Marshall’s signature grooves are the recipe here. Killer just about sums it up.
On the flip, “Jamming the Unit” is another tracky workout designed for the long-mix, followed by the kick-less Basic Channel-influenced builder, entitled “Champion”. A perfect weapon in any techno set.
