In germany Eva Padberg recently gained quite some recognition for playing her own 12" records on national tv show TV TOTAL hosted by one of our countries major pop producers. The guy was truly embarrased about the clicky lo fi sound of her releases, thinking that a "Soopermodel" (does this term still exist even ?) would propably deserve better management and production with her music.A historic moment in broadcasting we would say, do these assholes still have the nerve to think that a minimized electro sound derives from low scale equipment? Comon Mr. Arse -this sound maybe MINIMAL but it is by no means LIMITED!! so here we are the duo of Niklas Worgt aka DAPAYK and Singer PADBERG return with a strong follow up to last years SEMAPHORE EP. the original version of "white world" puts out almost frightening pressure with this merciless steamroller bassline and brain frying sizzling electresounds that you just got to wonder how Padbergs almost fragile voice can float so easily throughout. JACKMATE (soulphiction) proves to be in worldclass form with his remix: true beat artistry. DAPAYK & PADBERG recently moved to berlin "where there´s definitely a lot more dogshit on the sidewalks than where we´re from" (DAPAYK). Buy this record!!

Perfekte Platte.

Beam me up 09.2004
