GummiHz´s 2nd release of mobilee comes straight from the bottom of his heart. The Concept of "Modern Dynamic" is based on developing grooves by manipulating the dynamics of a sound, rather than composing melodies. A1 - "Gomma Elastica" consists of a steady groove with a few surprises taking place in the sonic spectrum and a dominating fm tone evolving throughout the arrangement. It is the kind of tune that delivers pure freakness on the dance floor. B 1 - "The First Time" is set in a deeper atmosphere with a sweet electric piano groove appearing in the end, reminiscent of the starting time of deep house. Agony develops during the first minutes of the track, leading to a relaxed groove in theme with the sweet summer breeze.

4/5 The Gummi HZ debut on Mobilee was a thing of ferocious beauty, but don?t expect anything less on this follow up. Midway through ?The First Time?, there is a deep chord sequence which detracts from the jarring analogue backing track, but it?s only a temporary distraction. ?Gomma Elastica? makes no concessions to musical content, with its clattering metallic percussion and visceral bassline constantly threatening to but never quite succeeding in sending the arrangement sliding into oblivion.

I like the new Gummihz. The B side is a serious killer. It´s unique and smart and very original. I´m playing it on every set almost and am waiting for his next release. Much love and respect

i´m a huge fan of mr. gummihz. this is perfect. hipnotic, dynamic and theme-driven. gomma elastica is the one for me... that lead is so beautifully insane! post-peak hour material that really stands out from anything out there. the first time is stunning as well. this release brings the life and spirit back to a genre that´s filled with faceless kicks and beeps. classic material from an already classic label! 10/10
