If you’ve see him perform you know that this guy has the funk oozing through through his veins like a predatory viper going for the kill. Sorry to you too kicks in with a deadly funk bassline thats sends the groove straight to your feet and you makes you wanna dance till the cows come home, stick with it though cause this isnt the whole story yet … be prepared to be mezmerized by the hypnotic ska of the club chord stabbing in and out of the mix bringing the crowd to sweat filled climax…….. The third release on 100% Pure founder Sandy Huner and Dave Ellesmere's new label sees William Kouam Djoko, frontman with Dutch minimal house outfit jason and the Argonauts, deliver his first solo production since 2006.'Hard Loving' is a sparce cut of hazy percussion-led tribal beats undrpinned by a gently undulating bassline with William's laid-back spoken vocals layered over the top. Equally captivating are the deep bass tones of 'Sorry To You' on the B-side which, with its light, liquid percussion and soft delicate beats, is a real gem.
