The third release on 100% Pure founder Sandy Huner and Dave Ellesmere's new label sees William Kouam Djoko, frontman with Dutch minimal house outfit jason and the Argonauts, deliver his first solo production since 2006.'Hard Loving' is a sparce cut of hazy percussion-led tribal beats undrpinned by a gently undulating bassline with William's laid-back spoken vocals layered over the top.
Equally captivating are the deep bass tones of 'Sorry To You' on the B-side which, with its light, liquid percussion and soft delicate beats, is a real gem.
