Debug (GER): “Mittlerweile bin ich Fan von Animaltek Tracks. Die sind immer so albern in ihrer minimalen Deepness. "Oh Seven" ist einer dieser brummig darken Kohlenstoffeinheiten, die einem unter die Haut kriechen und in der die Vocals so perfekt als Sound integriert sind, dass man einfach nach Atem ringt um zu verstehen wie weit das alles die Kehle hinunterlaufen kann. Böses Zeug, aber mit genau der richtigen Funkübersicht und dem Spass am Sound, den solche Tracks brauchen. Die Rückseite beginnt mit "Pleasure & Pain" etwas strange, wenn man mit dem Vocal nicht so ganz klar kommt, aber da es so absurd ist, muss man einfach nur den Humor verstehen. Eine Hymne für die Momente in denen alle so drüber sind, dass sie die seltsamsten Seltsamkeiten des Lebens für Normalzustand halten. Den Abschluss macht der Funkbasstrack "Toldja" der reine Inszenierung von abstrakten Sounds ist, bis hin zu den Breaks in denen man das Gefühl hat, die Welt könnte jetzt auch stillstehen, aber hat dennoch ihren Spass dabei. http://www.wir-im-rhythmus.de bleed •••••”

Le label Wir retrouve sa vista avec ce maxi des russes d'Animaltek. Sur 'Oh Seven', ils livrent un gros morceau, axé sur une ligne de basse ronde et groovy. La progression est bonne, avec de bons ingrédients techy et quelques bonnes montées de synthé. Superbe ! En B, 'Pleasure And Pain' invite un petit vocal par dessus une basse assez électro dans l'approche et 'Toldja' prend quelques libertés plus expérimentales. Chaudement recommandé !
