There is a distinguished moaning on the "This Is" track that shouts oldschool but somehow with a new wave interpretation. From the acidized bass that slaps from sec 1 till the overdown pitched vocals that embrace so attractive the riffs n claps.
Mindtest goes erotic with a warm leadsynth flow and a spark of melody . The sequencing is well balanced and crafted as the Yang on "This Is" Yin ... Basti Grub's fame is here to close the deal , with his moody africanodelic re work of the original . A slow burning cherry that blooms as the seconds pass by with its haunting leeds and spacey buzz.
For sure a 3 track sampler with a spanking attitude but so stylish arranged . Something to keep you sharp and nostalgic for the things to come...
