Is in 1992 that Eric Borgo, Swiss-Italian, started mixing at home, just for his own, deeply
interested into the english labels as “Warp” and “Peacefrog” and his biggest musical
inspirations Detroit techno and classic Chicago house. In 1994 Eric started playing out and
had his first successfull local gigs before to take it professionaly 3 years laters. His talent
permitted him to obtain residencies in the two biggest underground clubs of switzerland:
Trax in Zurich and Loft in Lausanne. Knowned as one of the main players in his country
he pionnered the Detroit techno sound and Chicago underground house in Switzerland
and had a pivotal position in the spread of this sounds trough his weekly show on national
swiss radio “Couleur 3” for five years and his chief redactor of french part of the swiss edi-
tion of german magazine Partysan.On the production side Eric made three 12’’ for “Tsuba
records”. His last LP “Mopti” stayed three weeks at first position on beatport deep house
chart. His sound is a mix of detroit roots and modern house which place real emphasis on
the builds and drops to create dancefloor mayhem...
