Ed Davenport aka Szenario is a London based DJ and Producer. Since his arrival in the capital Ed has been spinning his take on the trippy, minimalist vibe mixed together with elements of classic acid house and detroit techno. His dj sets can range from deep, dark minimalism to tough, energetic peak time material and are never complete without the odd, surprising twist or turn. Always keen to set the scene and create an atmosphere, Ed's favourite task as a DJ or producer is to preserve the timeless, blissed out mood that's only found during those special late morning adventures....
Ed's debut 12'' for Gumption was notable for promoting that same, afterhours vibe with the deep summery dub of Yanderling receiving strong dj and media support. 2006 has also seen releases on German label Liebe Detail and UK label Leftroom under the pseudonym Szenario, a project that represents his tougher, funkier side. His first remix as Szenario - a deep, brooding reinterpretation of Steady Road by [A]pendics Shuffle has also just been released on Leftroom...
