since 1994, oscar has spiced up the german electronic music scene as a party promoter, and pretty soon his dj'ing skills got him guest appearances all across the country. in 2003 he finally took the step into producing and quickly turned his experience as a dj into cool & quirky cuts that work brilliantly on discerning dancefloors. at this time he started his own labels "karatemusik" and "karateklub". he continued with remixes and original productions for other platforms like confused, superfancy, gastspiel. oscar truly put his name on the map in april 2005, when his "fetenhits für fortgeschrittene" ep came out on superfancy recordings. although only released as a limited edition, the record got such a buzz among djs that it climbed all the way into the top 30 of the german club charts. with this accolade under his belt, oscar has now stepped onto the international scene and played a lot of gigs in spain, belgium and the netherlands. in january 2007 he started his own monthly podcast "plantage 13 and friends".there you can listen to fresh tunes from plantage13.com and his own labels.
