I'm Irish, a one time Londoner and am now living in Berlin. I'm a burgeoning maker of underground house and techno. I got my start as a DJ while working for Mixmag where i spent seven years working my way through various job titles: club listings ed, news ed, music ed and features/Big Tunes ed.
My first track Machine Ate My Homework was released on Moodmusic in 2006 and was supported by a wide range of people including Laurent Garnier, Luciano, DJ Hell, Tiefschwarz, MYLO, Ewan Peason, Paul Oakenfold (weird eh?), Danny Howells and James Lavelle.
Since then I've released on Moodmusic (So That's What Happens), GEt Physical offshoot Kindisch (Opium Haze/Professional Exit), True To Form (Praia Brava), Get Physical (Indian Horn), Paradigma (Okay No Disco EP) and Buzzin Fly (Give Me a Funf). I've also remixed UNKLE (Surrender All), Sei A, (Imprimé) and Dakar (Get Physical). Next up is a single on Leftroom (Watch Ya Feet) with a remix from Ewan Pearson in January and a remix of Sasse's latest album track 'Friday Sessionz' and Chris Fortier's 'Losing Wait' with plenty more exciting developments in the pipeline.
As a journalist I've written for broadsheets like the Irish Independent and the Scotsman and been interviewed as a dance culture pundit on ITV News, Channel 4 News, BBC News 24, BBC 1 News at 6 to name a few. I started my career at CNN in Atlanta. I've been DJing professionally for five years. I'm currently resident for Bristol's leading underground party Bump and I've DJ'd in places like Ibiza, Barcelona, Brazil, Portugal, Ireland, Miami, The Ukraine and Poland as well all around the UK.
