Itokim, alias Takuro Ito was born in Yamagata in 1980 and is based in Kanagawa, Japan.After various experiments in reggae and rock bands, via the internet he met a man who produced Detroit oriented techno. Then he got into the electronic music and started to create his own tracks influenced by the late nineties electronica and Detroit techno.
In 2007, he sent some demos and this resulted in his very first EP, "Baby Moon", on a fresh new London-based label called Fine Art Records. The release received some great reviews and support from diverse international DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Ben Watt, Akufen, Geoffroy Mugwump, and Fabrice Lig.
Recently, he has recorded and remixed for Fine Art Records and will take you into a deep and beautiful electronica-influenced-tech-house journey.
