Born William Kouam Djoko he was raised by a Cameroonian father and Dutch-Ukrainian mother. Already at the age of 3 heavily in love with sounds and music. Letting his body react to it, he quickly started dancing, with Michael Jackson as his big idol.
At the age of 16, William became tired of playing football, realizing dancing still was his greatest passion over the years. Starting of with the simplicity and fun of salsa dancing, this quickly became a fulltime passion. Dancing at the Leidse Balletschool at age 18. Helas due to a knee injury he had to give up dancing.
Somewhere in 2002/2003 William got acquainted with Jason Shae, Newton da Costa and Pete Bandit via a mutual friend; organising techno parties around The Hague in 2003 and in need of a host for the evening. A job perfectly suited for William.
Nowadays the four form the live-act of Jason and the Argonauts. Playing a wide range of minimal house with a techno vibe through-out Holland and now going abroad as well. In the live-act of Jason and the Argonauts William enables himself in the role of vocalist using FX to freak live on stage. Started producing music around 2004/2005 his sound was always characterised by full grooves and freaked bits. Always aiming for full body motion, very much leaning towards house.
With a wide scope on the world, sounds and music William will definitely keep developing his own sound, always looking out for new inspiration. Next to that expect an energetic DJ-set, drenched in house, that will keep you wondering and dancing till the very end! If there is one...
