Michel Baumann aka Jackmate is also known as Soulphiction and Supatone. He´s a DJ since 1987 when he played the first HipHop- Jams around Stuttgart. In 1992 he founded the HipHop-Project "Agit Jazz", together with Maximilian Herre (nowadays "Freundeskreis"). Working at a record store in 1989 he became infected to the classic Chicago-House Sound of Larry Heard, Lil Louis ...a.o. In 1989 he started producing his own tracks, but it took time to relase his first record in 1996 on Stir15Rec. An exclusive track by Jackmate is featured on the Poker Flat Vol.2 Compilation (PFRCD / LP 05).
