Biography

Born in Dublin Ireland, raised gypsy style in southern Spain and constantly moving cities,Sian chose early to drop out of society,make music,DJ and be saved by art. By committing to the avantgarde way of life.Original Irish bad boy and party freak,Sian sticks out as a little more bohemian,He belongs to a rare strain of flamboyant and eccentric new DJ/producer talent ,counted among those that know how it really feels to dance till the sun comes up. He records for Dubfire's highly respected Sci&Tec label and the Aus music imprint,He has also appeared on Pokerflat,Karmarouge,Dessous,Mule and long the way he has been remixed by Gui Boratto,Steve Bug,Efdemin and Roland Appel. A total workaholic,He is known for wild DJ sets and a unique flair behind the decks.Sian's DJ-ing adventures have taken him all over,from the nicest clubs and festivals in Europe to dates in Canada,USA,Eastern Europe,Australia and beyond.Enroute He has rocked his unusual brand of house and techno voodoo to memorable nights worldwide,at venues such as Berghain,Secretsundaze,Tripod,Electric Picnic,Compression,Fusion Festival,Muletover,Clandestino,Rohstofflager,Industria,Nitsa,Hive,Suburbia,Supermarket,Contour,Chinese Laundry,Spy,The Kitchen, etc etc... After recent standout underground projects and remixes,including his remix of Gui Boratto's "Tales from the label",Efdemin's timeless remix of his track "Appletree",or Steve Bug's reworking of "Sei",He has already gathered great press attantion from Mixmag,Groove.de,DJmag,IDJ,De:bug, XLR8,Resident advisor etc,ensuring airplay from top dance music shows worldwide.His tracks have routinely ended up in the record boxes of all the main techno/house luminaries,receiving support from the likes of Carl Craig,Loco Dice,Ame,Ben Watt,Luciano,Villalobos,Steve Lawler,Laurent Garnier,Nic Fanciulli,Ripperton,Funk Dvoid,Patrick Chardronnet, Shinedoe,3Channels,Martin Landsky,Dj Koze,and Anja Schneider to namedrop a few.. Sian also finds time to run the unusual techno label Octopus,with label manager Mirus-a label that still in its very infancy has already worked with esteemed names like 3 Channels,Ripperton,Gui Boratto,Herve AK,Yapacc,Axel Bartsch and bright new talent like Calculus,Nico Purman,Arnaud le Texier,MrStatik,Sebastian Roya.The young imprint s already supported by everyone from LocoDice,Damian Lazarus,to M.A.N.D.Y,including much press love from DJmag,IDJ,Mixmag,Resident Advisor,Groove,XLR8 etc. Demand is now heating up for Sian's remixes too,recent projects such as Gui Boratto,Looselips/Audiofly, Simon Baker,Sebastian Roya and Vegetable Orchestra project (other remixers on this project are Anja Schneider,Luciano,Villalobos),have illustrated a genuinely unique sound.
