A: Whatpeopleplay.com is the digital download site of the people who also started Wordandsound Medien GmbH, Hamburg, Germany in 1999.
Wordandsound has in the past served only business customers, so you might not have heard of us yet, but for almost ten years now it's been one of the most
experienced dance-music distribution and wholesale companies in the world, having on offer hundreds of exclusive labels, for example,
Steve Bug's Poker Flat Recordings, Luciano's Cadenza, Anja Schneider's Mobilee and many, many more. All these are labels Wordandsound delivers to your
record store anywhere in the world, exactly the same music you can download here but on vinyl and CD formats. Check out our website at

It´s another Shop right, but´being Dj´s and Music resellers ourselves we thought things further. We want to give you a more realistic In Store Feeling.

Thick sound drives our music. So why listen to some some crackling crap while you test it at purchase? How easily can you overlook or not recognize a wicked
tune when the usual mediocre pre-listening sound quality comes through your high-end quadro speakers?
It's simply annoying to have great equipment whilst the store you purchase at provides outdated sound. We don't go that way, folks. We may not have all the tracks
from all the labels on Planet Earth yet but the ones we do have sound mighty real! However, due to legal restrictions, we can only offer 45-second-excerpt sound
clips at the moment, and each track is cut so you won't be able to stream the whole track. Sorry!

At Whatpeopleplay.com, each label and artist has their own "homepage". Not only are all the labels or artists' releases and top-selling tracks listed here, you can
learn more about your favourite label or artist by finding their pictures and logo, biography and news content, plus - if available - releases that somehow wouldn't
fit anywhere else: unusual formats like added digital-only bonus mixes, full-length live shows or previously unreleased tracks.
In addition, you'll soon be able to sign into the labels or artists' personal news and release infos and receive frequent updates from them. This function will be
