3 Things Dubbyman Plays

Rodenion & No milk & Kez YM - Scott Ferguson - Ernie

-
José Manuel Alvarez, also known as Dubbyman, made his debut as a DJ in 1992. Inspired by Acid House, Funk, Drum&Bass and Hip Hop by 2002 he became Dubbyman. He and his brother Above Smoke are running the Deep Explorer imprint where lots of their own productions see the light of day. His latest EP "King Of Motown" is out on Cornuta Sound. Here is Dubbyman's selection for "3 Things People":

I love how the japanese producers do the things in deephouse. In their productions you can see clearly how much passion they feel when they love something. It is curious but when Andy (the owner of the label and friend of mine) released this EP i thought "Shit! he did it before me..." because i had the similar idea in the past, and even the name of the ep that i had in mind was similar too...  A great record to play all tracks. I missing Stereociti in the EP to have a perfect circle but everything can't be perfect ...;)

Scott Ferguson "Feels Like 1995" [Ferris Park]
Ferrispark is one those less labels that i really don't need to prelisten to know that i will like it. All the releases are cool and it's a fact.
Also in this one is included "Boris a max" one of my favourites tracks of this amazing label. Good dope.

Ernie "Countdown To Wake Up" [Minuendo]
To be honest i used to play only the A side of this record because this record is one of those that when you have it in your hand during the selection for the suitcase I think "I need to test the tracks of the B side" but later in the middle of the set  i play again the A side. That means something, right?
The original version of "Soul of the night" and the amazing remix from Ordell justify to buy this EP.
