Its a sensitive and cinematic release. For us here at False Industries, Glitterbugs music, never fitted exact genre definition. Hes been slowly building his own world of sound. Being part of the techno scene, but not as fully fledged member, more as an observer. It makes sense that his new release will be out in on label that has no genre definition. And we here at False Industries are very proud to release Egress. It consists of four minimal,delicate, dark at time yet very warm tracks. The whole release works great when you hear it as one piece. Vacuity opens Egress, from very tender drones, into more orchestral feel, with overtones all over. Span starts with very minimal washes, which slowly grows on the listener, with added feedbacks and tones. Stagger is even more minimal and starts with almost no sound. It builds slowly with tones drones, and analog bass lines. Last but not least is Appraise, which is very cinematic, with some lovely drones and beats, it turns into a more optimistic orchestral tune. Like always we added some remixes from artists we like. Tilman Erhorn, a jazz player who released in the past on labels like Mille Plateaux, Neo Ouija etc... takes the original and turns it into, a minimal clicks affair, with ostinatos overtones and beats. Adding some of his own color and charm to Span. The Sight below (Rafael Anton Irisarri) who released on GhostlyMiasmahRoom 40, takes Vacuity and turnes it into a an eleven minutes of deadly techno filled with drones and minimal beats.
