The Italian duo Discodromo Giacomo Garavelloni and Giovanni Turco teamed up with the extraordinary producer Hard Ton to release another massive disco tune. Something between Detroit and Disco they fixed in ‘Build A House’, a track that is also new edited and remixed by Internasjonal label owner Prins Thomas and the current most important actor in the house scene Tensnake. Italian producer represented on a Norwegian label Internasjonal, here Kjottkaker and Pizza are served on the same table below some discoballs, the result is a delicious meal you will never be fed up with. Discodromo already released their first catalogue number also with Internasjonal in 2008, leaving their marks at Dissident, Slow Motion and Discaire. Prins Thomas versions delivers a sick bassline that rotates through the whole song. The background is formed by fluffy resounding background synths, while the main synth consists of an extravert trumpet motif. The voice samples sings ‘Build The House’ above the music, he build a perfect shape of club compatible disco house. Tensnake’s remix is added by brand recognition, low pitched voice in contrast to children’s voices, energetic and balearic vibes through vast, warm synthpads and happy melodies, while the synth and bassline move together in the same direction to perform a continous lightness melody. Time by time a saxophone sets in with a permanent played intervall. The hard break of a rhythmic piano run charges the track with lots of energy that definitely rubbs off on the listeners spirit. This track also lives off sudden synths chords and other background noises that are played in between the melodies. Great EP! (Julia)
