After releases, appearances and remixes on More Music, Get Me, Permanent
Vacation or Sofrito Super Singles DrumTalk returns (following "Time" from 2014)
to Huntleys + Palmers with a self titled EP on which the London based producer
serves four wonderful warehouse cuts.
The package starts with Halo, a track grounded on drums, offering a
Robert-Hood-like minimal aesthetic. Ishtar follows, a narrative heavy bass
figure and afro touched voices moving around the psychedelic centre. And while Euphonia prances around over stomping grounds straight up into
cosmic heights it is Everything that gets you with its warm subtle funk on the vocals accompanied by a murky bass
heavy drive. Highly recommended. (Hendrik)
