Is here and needless to say you are in for a real “treat”. Fantastic Friends Recordings is once again delighted to present the latest release from Giovanni Damico, 2 tracks of pure Chicago House with: shall we say a “paranoid” & dance floor feel. Firstly, “clock” and it’s wild saxophone that will take you on a journey down Mulholland drive, at the wheel of a Mustang. With its funky bassline that will kick the “revs” into overdrive and have you heading towards the dance floor. For all aficionados of weird musical classifications, it can be said that “no lines” is a sort of “Paranoid Chicago House”, one of those rare gems with a bass line that is full of sweat, with vocals flirting with paranoia. This track would be a great soundtrack to a film based in the darker corners of the Berlin After Nightlife.
Just as effective, the remix of “No Lines” by Don Ramon and Whodafuck, gives us a funk filled version that takes you by the hand, leads you to the dance floor and fills your face with a huge smile.
Last but not least, an excellent Italo-House Remix of Clock by Whodafuck, who slows the tempo right down to expose the bass and give us this groovy, sexy track, that will make the after clubs sweat.
