If music business were fair, the Argentinean producer Parga would have a very distinguished place alongside the big names of the industry. His awesome skills to produce melodic deep house, with complex but catchy melodies, are simply outstanding. After delight us in December with "Drink Me", his debut track on My Little Dog, now is time for his first solo ep.
The title song "Orion" is beautiful and groovy allegory to life. It brings the Summer and bliss wherever it sounds, simply a masterpiece. Veteran Berlin based producer Dompe (Style Rockets, Ostfunk) injects even more groove to the original track and transforms it into a very effective tech house weapon. The ep continues with Sand Dune, where the melodies and a solid rhythm are also the hallmarks. A clearly Summer tune for any respected open air.
The ep calms down a bit with the 3rd original song "Al Rio". Deep baseline, hot synths and sexy voices joined with an exquisite delicacy. Glasgow based producer Matt McLarrie (Mile End, Younan) strips down the song, adds an acid bassline and plays with the filters, moving our mind and feet to late 80s Chicago. Last but not least, our Chilean man Santiago Deep grabs a flight to Detroit, adding more percussion as well as a dark minor key synth, which harmonizes with the original piano as fine as a hot dog fits with a beer.
