UK’s Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe began DJing together as PBR Streetgang in 2003 at their residency at Mint Nightclub named “Asylum.” Their growing popularity at home led them to doing a few one-off guest spots at We Love Space in Ibiza, becoming a resident of the party shortly after. Splitting time between Leeds and Ibiza, the duo began releasing original productions in 2008. After a string of acclaimed remixes and originals for their friends at 2020 Vision and Futureboogie, the duo released on Hot Creations their breakout “Downstroke.” PBR continued to simultaneously expand their remix repertoire, most recently for Lana Del Rey. After an extensive US tour, the duo returned in 2014 with their debut for Throne of Blood Achilles, “a gait of a banger” according to Resident Advisor. Ten years in the making, these “technically sound selectors”, according to Mixmag, have “secured spots at clubs and festivals the world over.” This includes their longest running residency at Space in Ibiza, serving as closing DJs for the entirety of 2013 season.
2016 has been outstanding for the boys, remixing Bryan Ferry and UK house giants Dusky. On the road debut tours to Japan & Brazil whilst returning to the legendary Panorama Bar and Glastonbury festival. All this whilst holding down a month long residency on Rinse FM and still finding time for a releases on Future Boogie, Craig Richards newest label ‘Ship To Shore’ and the world renowned Crosstown Rebels. With more releases planned tours already planned 2017 looks to be just as big.
