Rich Thair has spent the last eight years building a strong reputation as a versatile dj. Playing all over the UK and Europe including Fabric, 93 Feat East, Fesh, Herbal, Spectrum, Urban Guerilla, Rehab and Technique in Leeds, Glastonbury, Budapest, Paris, Reykjavik, Moscow, St Petersburg, Brussels and Amsterdam. Playing mostly House, Breaks and Electro at weekends but branching out into more experimental downbeat electronica midweek. Since the early nineties Rich has released his own music, he co-ran Flaw Recordings and produced two albums with the Aloof as well as drumming with the Sabres of Paradise, The Beloved and The Sandals. He was the founder of Red Snapper and produced four albums for Warp records,  remixed the likes of Garbage, David Holmes, Howie B and The Sabres of Paradise and toured all over the world. More recently Rich compiled 'its all good' for Keep Diggin' Records and the last 2 ever Snapper albums on Lo Recordings. His new live band - TOOb - with Jakeone has  already won acclaim as a live and studio act that is keeping dance music on its toes. Their first Ep was on Groovetech recs. and the second on Flameboy recs. Their album 'How to spell TOob" is out now on Lo Recordings and the 2 12s have gained them more support with djs across the world. They are also quickly becoming known as a remix team who are prepared to take some risks. Their live show goes from strength to strength and promises to gain the live reputation that Red Snapper had. Rich has recently remixed Red Snapper, Wide Open Cage Boheme and Jakeone and played drums for Hybrid, Radioactiveman, Two Lone Swordsmen, Rennie Pilgrem and Basement Jaxx. Rich is in the middle of writing and recording a live afrofunk album for DC recordings whilst touring live in UK/Europe with Jakeone as TOOb.
