Singer / Songwriter Robert Owens has been famous especially for his cooperations with Larry Heard in the late 80's. Their "Bringing Down The Walls" as Fingers, Inc. (together with Ron Wilson) is one of the trademarks
of early Chicago House Music. Further classics of the project are "Mystery Of Love", "It's Over" or "A Path" beside highlights like "Can You Feel It" or "Washing Machine".
Robert Owens received major success with "I'll be Your Friend" in 1991 and released the beautiful "Can't Stop", a cooperation with Block 16, ten years later, before singing the beautiful "Walk A Mile In My Shoes", a cooperation with Coldcut, in 2006. These ones have been followed by his "Movin' On" (2007) and "Deep Down" (2008), two cooperations with another acclaimed producer, Ron Trent, and the album "Art" on Compost Records, released in 2010.
In 2012 Robert Owens has worked together with artists like Mercury and Ralf Gum and released the beautiful "Sacrifice" on Kai Alce's NDATL Muzik.
