This label is the love child of the renowned Producer and DJ Jerome Sydenham also known for his flagship label Ibadan Records. Continuing from the existing legacy of the classic Ibadan Ten Inch series, which included monumental tunes like Timbuktu (Ibadan) and Sandcastles (Ibadan/Defected), Apotek was created to push the boundaries of the Techno genre. The first release "Asama" from Apotek Records shows Sydenham’s consistent commitment to quality material as also evident in the multiple classic releases from Ibadan Records.
