Electracom is a techno label started in 1996 by Damon Vallero. Initially focusing on his own releases as Auto Union the label soon began putting out tracks by other artists. First up was Japanese techno producer Takaaki Itoh who has now emerged as a major talent with a unique style and growing plaudits. Others later included Bob Brown, Hiroaki Iizuka, Inigo Kennedy, Patrik Skoog, Tuomas Rantanen, Kuniaki Takenaga, Fishguard and Supagrupa while Damon has recorded as Bioscope Man, F-Controller and more recently under his own name. The labels tracks have been played out by all the major techno DJs from Luke Slater, Ritchie Hawtin, Dave Angel and Dave Clarke to Oscar Mulero, James Ruskin, Damon Wild and Fumiya Tanaka. Now no longer a physical label releasing vinyl, this is the first time that some of these tracks are available since the original twelve inch records were sold out.
