Howlin Records is the creation of the well known breakbeat / electro and hip hop artist Freddy Fresh. It began in the year 2000 and explores the more Hip Hop orientated end of breakbeat and the experimental end of electro in a strictly 7” format. It has had a plethora of artists record for the label including many high profile names such as Fatboy Slim, Krafty Kuts, DJ Icey and Steinski as well as Freddy himself to name but a few. It has also developed into a substantial outlet, with over 30 releases and continues to apply itself to the genre of which Freddy is an expert.
