Review on: Adryiano – Abyssum Tenebris

Released on CESTRAW

-
Since his first releases in 2012 the music of German producer and dj Adryiano has always been grown on raw dance sounds with a classical tendency. A fundamental approach that is still audible but while his first releases on Soul Notes, Skylax or Saft could have been located in the realms of oldschoolish house and garage his latest works have soundwise moved on to another perspective. Over the past two years Adryiano became more and more focused on the rhythmical forces of techno and also launched his own imprint CESTRAW in early 2016 during his new course has evolved. After a solo effort called “Default EP” and a Various Artists EP unagitatedly called “Quite Good Tracks Vol. 1” (feat. Kastil, Monogenic, D.J. Shmugshis and Adryiano himself) his latest works on his CESTRAW label are straightly following the route set on the style map before. His “Abyssum Tenebris” brings four dryly pumping cuts of raw techno influenced by the classical spirit of sound from Detroit and Chicago. A techno that is reduced but likewise heavy, got a gloomy feel but is also offering warmth, is built on plain drum machine grooves as well as subtly swinging deepness and thus creating a meditative way of letting the things flow. Timeless club sounds!
